Former teacher Dr. John “Jeff” McCullers has received a tidal wave of recent endorsements in his grassroots bid to unseat embattled incumbent Melisa Giovanelli on the Lee County School Board, District 2.
The Teachers Association of Lee County and the Support Personnel Association of Lee County (representing the great majority of school district employees) endorsed McCullers in recognition of his long experience in schools and service to the teaching profession. They join many other organizations including the Lee County Young Democrats, the Hispanic Vote Southwest Florida, and the Lee County LGTBQA Democratic Caucus, all urging Lee voters to turn the page and back Dr. McCullers.
