Reports to: VICE CHAIR
Skills: Outgoing personality
• Comfortable with public speaking and recruiting
• Detail oriented, able to keep track of multiple lists of volunteers and volunteer skills, aptitudes and preferences
• Positive attitude, flexibility, understanding of volunteer needs and time constraints
• Ability to identify and assess volunteer skills and match volunteers to available opportunities
Activities: Identify and recruit volunteers for the DEC
• Maintain the Volunteer Schedule and Volunteer Opportunities List
• Communicate with Zone Leaders re: Volunteer needs and opportunities
• Provide current Volunteer Opportunities List to EXECUTIVE SECRETARY weekly
• Coordinate with TRAINING COORDINATOR to ensure new volunteers are trained in a timely manner
• Maintain the Volunteer Skills and Training List in My Campaign
• Recommend to VICE CHAIR the addition or deletion of Skills and Training in My Campaign
• In coordination with EXECUTIVE SECRETARY and VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR maintain and update all mailing lists
• Assign trained non-committed volunteers to Volunteer Opportunities as needed
• Ensure all necessary supplies are available and assembled for each volunteer assigned to each Volunteer Opportunity
