Ways to Vote

The Supervisor of Elections Removed All Voters from Vote-by-Mail on December 31, 2024. Everyone needs to re-enroll in VBM NOW.

Three Ways to Vote

1. VOTE BY MAIL

Why enroll in Vote By Mail?

  • Your ballot will be mailed to you approximately 35 days before the election. You can study the ballot at your leisure, researching amendments, candidates, and non-partisan races.
  • You can fill out the ballot at your kitchen table. Then drop it in your mailbox or take it to the Supervisor’s office and put it in a Drop Box.
  • It’s free. Postage is prepaid.
  • It’s convenient. No waiting in line. No finding a babysitter. No taking off from work.
  • You can still vote in person, if you choose (just turn in the ballot at the polls).
  • You don’t have to worry about a family emergency or other event getting in the way of your going to the polls

In 2022, voters who received ballots in the mail were nearly three times more likely to vote than those who didn’t get mail ballots.
